The Makeover Studio School of Make-up is the regions first private make-up training establishment, located in Portsmouth, Hampshire.  As a professional training company all courses are accredited, recognised and insurable. Each course is taught by a qualified make-up artist with more than eleven years industry experience.   
         
In small, relaxed classes we teach the necessary skills and technical expertise required to practice professional make-up. Skills and confidence are further developed through theoretical discussions and step by step demonstrations, reinforced with practical hands-on experience.

Designed for a variety of levels and abilities, courses begin with a Make-up Artistry Certificate, for those wishing to enter the industry and attain a professional make-up qualification, followed by specialist courses in Bridal Make-up and a Diploma in Advanced Make-up.

The Diploma is a media based course which focuses upon Photographic, Bespoke and Alternative Bridal and Fashion Make-up techniques. This course provides a greater depth of knowledge and experience of the industry, as it includes working in a real photographic studio, alongside a professional photographer for personal portfolio development. This experience allows each student to chart their success and gain valuable insight and understanding of the effect various lighting techniques can have upon make-up. 

Upon successful completion, we offer post training support along with vital business and marketing advice for the freelance make-up artist.
